Meet Our Boca Raton Team Member: Leigh

An integral part of the Boca dental team since the day they opened, Leigh first worked with Dr. Markowitz as a chair side assistant back in 1996.

In 2000, she went back to school to get her degree in hygiene, graduating  from PBCC in 2006 with an Associates in Science degree.

Soon after graduating, she came back to Dr. Markowitz as his hygienist.

Since then, she has won the hearts of all our patients and the whole staff.

Leigh believes the first step in cure is prevention through education.

A dental hygienist of considerable experience, when asked about her role with Great Boca Smiles she said “while working with a patient I am always making observations about not only the condition of their teeth but also their gum tissues. I’m always watching for signs to alert Dr. Markowitz to areas of concern, knowing that being proactive ensures good dental health”.
