Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening procedures are effective in lightening most stains caused by age, tobacco, coffee and tea. Based on clinical studies, 96% of patients see some lightening effect. The best candidates are those patients with yellow and light brown teeth, stained over a period of years. Darker brown or grayish stains, such as those produced by tetracycline use or fluorosis (too much fluoride), require more specialized techniques. If you have tooth-color fillings, bondingor veneers when your teeth are bleached, the whitening will not lighten them.

3D Cat Scan

Dental cone beam computed tomography (CT) is a special type of x-ray machine used in situations where regular dental or facial x-rays are not sufficient. This type of CT scanner uses special technology to generate three dimensional images of dental structures, soft tissues, nerve paths, and bone of the craniofacial region in a single scan. Images obtained with cone beam CT allow for more precise treatment planning and placement of dental implants. This allows for the greatest success in implant dentistry.

Crowns

A crown is a tooth-shaped cap that’s placed over the tooth to restore its shape and size, strength or improve its appearance. A crown may be needed to protect a weakened tooth from breaking or to hold together parts of a cracked tooth, to restore a broken tooth or a tooth that has been severely worn down, or the replace old, failing restorations or fillings.
Our same day crowns provide a beautiful looking, single – visit restoration. With its enamel-like material, our same day crowns look and feel like your natural teeth. As with most CEREC restorations it can also be done in one visit to avoid the impressions, temporary crowns and return visits.

New Teeth Today- New Teeth Tomorrow

A hybrid denture requires placing four or more implants in the jaw, depending on the jawbone size and shape. After the implants heal, they are connected to abutments (connectors) which can be screwed to the denture. The hybrid denture is fixed and does not come out. It can only be removed by a dentist.
If you’re a denture wearer who has always wanted permanent teeth, but are not ready or a candidate for multiple individual implants for each missing tooth, hybrid dentures could be the answer for you.
Unlike removable dentures, hybrid dentures do not feel bulky. The upper denture can enable your restorative dentist to design a denture that leaves the roof of the mouth open. While this feels more natural, it also lets you enjoy the taste of your food more. Hybrid dentures also are much more stable and do not shift against the jaw ridge. They are firmly anchored into the implants. This stability also avoids the occasional soreness (sore spots) which can happen beneath dentures when foods like seeds get trapped below. Patients with hybrid dentures very often enjoy a wider variety of food more comfortably as compared to their old removable dentures.

Implants

A dental implant is actually a replacement for the root or roots of a tooth. Like tooth roots, dental implants are secured in the jawbone and are not visible once surgically placed. They are used to secure crowns (the parts of teeth seen in the mouth), bridgework or dentures by a variety of means. They are made of titanium, which is lightweight, strong and biocompatible, which means that it is not rejected by the body. Titanium and titanium alloys are the most widely used metals in both dental and other bone implants, such as orthopedic joint replacements. Dental implants have the highest success rate of any implanted surgical device.

Inlays / Onlays

CEREC inlays and onlays can be used to replace large existing fillings that need to be replaced but are extensive for a new filling. We are very conservative and always keep tooth structure whenever possible. Instead of grinding down healthy tooth structure for a crown we only remove the old filling, any fractures and or decay and repair tooth structure with a seamless custom puzzle piece that is bonded in place. The CEREC inlay or onlay will provide a strong, aesthetic, long-lasting restoration. Our enamel-like material looks and feels like your real teeth and helps restore your tooth to its original strength. As with most CEREC restorations it can be done with one visit. You can avoid the impression materials, temporary and return appointment associated with lab- created onlays.

Non-Surgical Gum Therapy

If you have been told you have periodontal (gum) disease, you’re not alone. 3 out of 4 adults in the U.S. currently have some form of the disease. Periodontal diseases range from simple gum inflammation to serious disease that results in major damage to the soft tissue and bone that support the teeth. In the worst cases, teeth are lost.

L-PRF

Many times patients require bone to be added around dental implants or placed in extraction sockets. The use of cadaver or bovine (cow) bone products is most commonly used. Now there is a better way using all natural products. L-PRF™ is basically a bioactive “band-aid” that is created from your own blood and then placed in your surgery sites to promote healing. A sample of your blood is collected in a tube, just as it would be for a blood test. Your doctor then uses the unique IntraSpin™ System to separate and concentrate certain important cells and active proteins by spinning your own blood in a dedicated centrifuge. After a fast preparation the bioactive clot, created just from your own blood, is now ideal for your procedure.

Sleep Apnea

Obstructive sleep apnea is a sleep disorder in which breathing is briefly and repeatedly interrupted during sleep. The “apnea” in sleep apnea refers to a breathing pause that lasts at least ten seconds. Obstructive sleep apnea occurs when the muscles in the back of the throat fail to keep the airway open, despite efforts to breathe. Another form of sleep apnea is central sleep apnea, in which the brain fails to properly control breathing during sleep. Obstructive sleep apnea is far more common than central sleep apnea.

advanced technology

If you’ve lost most or all of your teeth due to tooth decay or gum disease, then regular removable dentures are not the only solution. Implants can help you by supporting a more secure and stable denture replacement for teeth. Implant placement can be a great option for denture stabilization. Among these, a special type of implant-supported prosthesis is a “hybrid denture,” referred to as a hybrid because it combines the advantages of dental implants with a denture. It is especially suitable for those who’ve lost a considerable amount of jawbone over time due to missing teeth.
