Multiple Dental Implants

Multiple Dental Implants Installation Process Step-By Step

Multiple Dental Implants are used when a patient is missing multiple teeth, but still have healthy surrounding gums and teeth. For patients looking for a more complete smile, this is a recommended solution. With his vast amount of experience, Dr. Markowitz will ensure that you are comfortable with your results and treatment methods.
  1. Examination
Dr. Markowitz examines the area and takes a 3D Scan, preparing for the procedure allowing for accurate placement of the implant. See more on 3D Scanning.
  2. Implant Surgery
The implants are placed in a single visit. A temporary bridge may be set at the same time, if needed, for aesthetic as well as functional purposes. The implants may take up to a few months to integrate with the jawbone before the next proceeding to the Impression.
  3. Impression
An abutment is placed, and an impression is made and sent to the laboratory for fabrication of the final bridge.
  4. Installation of Final Bridge
The last step is to insert the final bridge on the implants. You should expect the new teeth to fit and function just like a natural tooth.
